According to data from the Customs of China, from January to May 2021, Australia's wine exports to China totaled 4,393,497 liters, with a total value of 296 million RMB. During the same period, China imported 42.328919 liters of wine from France, with a total value of 1.63 billion RMB. In terms of quantity, Australian wine is only one-tenth that of France.
In May, China imported only 107,400 liters of wine from Australia, and the value shrank to 2,873,900 RMB. The corresponding data for French wine is 8,795,400 liters, and the amount is 310 million RMB.
