On April 20, the 13th International Symposium on Grape and Wine and the Forum on High-quality Development of the former Yellow River Wine Region opened in Xuzhou, East China's Jiangsu province. 

With the theme of "Sustainable and high-quality Development of wine Industry", the conference aims to discuss and exchange new ideas, new results and new measures of grape and wine at home and abroad, show the development potential and advantages of Jiangsu wine industry, share domestic and foreign grape and wine industry, technology, scientific research progress, promote China's modern wine industry and rural revitalization.

The symposium and forum was hosted by the International Organization of Grape and Wine (OIV), Northwest A&F University, China Alcoholic Drinks Association （CADA）and Management Committee of Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone. 

Mr. Pau Roca, President of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) delivered a speech via online video. "It is a great honor to be invited to attend this seminar. OIV is an international organization dedicated to serving all member states. We also hope that China can join the OIV as soon as possible.
